HZ Leadership Consultant Firm was founded in April 2017. The company focuses on leadership and development of those who are working in nonprofit organizations, agencies and early childhood programs. As the CEO, I will dedicate my skill and knowledge to prepare organizations who want to develop their employees to become more efficient in their job duties and or responsibility, to feel empowered in the work place, to help them build resilience and promote a work life balance. I have over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and early childhood development. I graduated with my Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Central Missouri University and completed a Master Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. I have certificates in Training Fundamentals, Adult-Learning Concepts and many other trainings and certificates in leadership/management development. I have worked in well-known organizations such as The YWCA and The YMCA where I have conduct many trainings for my staff and other employees throughout the organizations. I have worked in Head Start for over 14 years, which has included quality assurance, case management, family advocacy, leadership, coaching and mentoring. Before my social services experiences I was a special education teacher for several years and work with student’s K thru 12, I have also been a youth counselor and career counselor for youth and adults. I also have certificates in crisis intervention and conflict resolution. I have completed many trainings and leadership program throughout my career and have gained a lot of knowledge on professional leadership and development.
